Opis zdjęcia
Jeden z najzimniejszych dni z mojego piętnastomiesięcznego pobytu na Polskiej Stacji Antarktycznej \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"H. Arctowski\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". Tego dnia było -22 °C , wiał wiatr o sile 20 m/s. uwzględniając efekt chłodzący wiatru temperatura wynosiła -40 °C. Mroźna pogoda panowała przez blisko 2 tygodnie, w związku z tym Zatoka Admiralicji zamarzła. Zdjęcie wykonałem \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"idąc na obiad\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\", zauważyłem nadciągające z północy chmury, które zwiastowały nadchodzącą odwilż znad Cieśniny Drake\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'a. Wciągu najbliższych dwóch dni pogoda była sztormowa, wiatr osiągał podmuchy do 60 m/s. Temperatura wzrosła do +2 °C a fale pokruszyły lód na Zatoce... tak zawitała do nas wczesna wiosna...
