Nr 750. \\\\"Majakowskaja\\\\" (stacja linii Zamoskworieckiej) to ulubiona stacja mieszkańców Moskwy - została otwarta 11 września 1938, w ciągu drugiej rozbudowy moskiewskiego metra. Autorem projektu stacji był wybitny architekt Aleksiej Duszkin, który jest również \\\\"ojcem\\\\" stacji \\\\"Plac Rewolucji\\\\", \\\\"Awtozawodskaja\\\\" i \\\\"Nowoslobodskaja\\\\". Jest to pierwsza na świecie stacja metra o budowie kolumnowej - nigdy wcześniej nie udało się konstruktorom stacji metra sprawić wrażenia wolności, wysokości, jasności i ogromnej wielkości podziemnej stacji metra. W 1939 roku projekt stacji \\\\"Majakowskaja\\\\" otrzymał Grand Prix na Wystawie Światowej w Nowym Jorku, przez co zapisał się w historii architektury i inżynierii.
