Opis zdjęcia
Ci, którzy zaskoczeni byli poprzednim "drewniakiem" z ul. Kawęczyńskiej (odc.5 serii) być może zdziwią się jeszcze bardziej. Widoczny na zdjęciu budynek znajduje się na ulicy Św. Wincentego, tuż obok jednego z węzłów komunikacyjnych warszawskiej Pragi - ronda Żaba. W takich właśnie domach, w XiX i na początku XX wieku, mieszkali tramwajarze i kolejarze, rzemieślnicy i robotnicy z pobliskich fabryk oraz drobni sklepikarze, czyli dawni, typowi mieszkańcy dla Targówka i Bródna. Ciekawostką jest, że budynek miał być rozebrany z powodu budowy owego ronda. Stanęło na tym, że ulica Św. Wincenego... mija go delikatnym łukiem. Szkoda, że innym, podobnym budowlom szczęścia zabrakło, a w ich miejscu "podziwiamy" jakże piękne apartamentowce, tak pięknie "wkomponowane" w klimat poszczególnych dzielnic Warszawy...
