Nr. 769. W latach 1948-1970 Uniwersytet Łomonosowa uzyskał zupełnie nową lokalizację i nowy kompleks budynków. Przeniesiony został na Wzgórza Leninowskie, na których zbudowano na powierzchni ponad 320 ha 30 głównych budynków uniwersyteckich, 20 budynków obsługujących. Założono też park i obiekty sportowe, ogród botaniczny oraz wybudowano obserwatorium astronomiczne. Budynek główny uniwersytetu, który bardzo szybko stał się jednym z symboli Moskwy, zbudowany został według projektu Lwa Rudniewa w latach 1949-1953.
