Opis zdjęcia
Bristolska Katedra stoi w miejscu, w którym wedle tradycji w roku 603 doszło do spotkania św. Augustyna z celtyckimi chrześcijanami. W 1140r. Robert Fitzhardinge ufundował opactwo. Po rozwiązaniu zakonów w 1539r. kościół podniesiony został do rangi katedry. Katedra była wielokrotnie przebudowywana w trakcie stuleci. Nawa natomiast (na powyższym zdjęciu) powstała w latach 1868-1877.
