Ostatnia zimowa pełnia, zwana pełnią wielkopostną lub pełnią robaków. W tym roku niezwykła za sprawą położenie Księżyca względem Ziemi. Dokładnie wczoraj znajdował się on w perygeum będąc najbliżej Ziemi od blisko 19 lat. Optycznie wydawał się większy o 14% i dużo jaśniejszy niż zazwyczaj. Niektórzy wiążą tak bliskie położenie Księżyca ze zjawiskami zachodzącymi w tym czasie na naszej planecie.
