Nr. 608. Amager to duńska wyspa położona w cieśninie Sund. Powierzchnia wyspy wynosi 96,3 km², zamieszkuje ją 169,2 tys. osób (I 2009). Amager połączona jest mostem ze Szwecją. Od Zelandii oddzielona cieśniną Kalveboderne, od wyspy Saltholm - Drogden. Administracyjnie wyspa podlega trzem gminom: Dragør, Tårnby i Kopenhadze (część stolicy Danii jest położona na Amager; w tej części znajduje się m.in. międzynarodowy port lotniczy Kopenhagi - Kastrup). Ta część Kopenhagi jest aktualnie miejscem inwestycji budownictwa mieszkaniowego o bardzo ciekawych rozwiązaniach konstrukcyjno-architektonicznych...
