Nr. 495. Z cyklu >Mosty Dublina< prezentuję dziś drugi most projektu architekta Santiago Calatravii czyli most Becketa..... 10 grudnia 2009 r oddano w Dublinie do użytku kolejny most.... Tym razem linowy, łączący Doki Spencera na północnym z Sir John Rogerson's Quay na południowym brzegu rzeki Liffey. Jest to drugie dzieło mostowe w tym mieście architekta Santiago Calatravii. W swojej wizji architekt wspaniale nawiązał do godła Republiki Irlandii - Harfy... Most ma ciekawą konstrukcję .... może się obracać wokół osi na której stoi pylon o 90 stopni aby przepuszczać statki wpływające w głąb rzeki Liffey pomimo szerokiej platformy nośnej (4 pasy ruchu, dwa trakty rowerowe i piesze)...
