Most Złotników jest najstarszym z mostów w Florencji. Zbudowano go z ciosów kamiennych w latach 1335 - 1345 w tym samym miejscu, w którym istniał pierwszy, drewniany most z czasów starożytnego Rzymu. Po obu stronach mostu już w XIV w. zbudowano niewielkie zabudowania. Początkowo mieściły się w nich jatki rzeźników. W XVI w. zamieniono je na warsztaty i kramiki innych rzemieślników, wśród których przeważały sklepiki złotników. Dzisiaj można tam kupić pamiątki i miło spędzić wieczorem czas przy grze na gitarze miejscowych artystów, którzy potrafią zarówno rozbawić, jak i stworzyć niepowtarzalny nastrój. Można również wynająć łódkę i podziwiać ten most z nietypowej perspektywy.
