It is especially difficult to find some cover if governments in countries (eg Poland) with lowland primeval forests (eg Bialowieza) allow cutting of > 100 year trees in fragments of the true primeval forest.... :-(((
Frank, it is very cold in the morning. It's necessary to take some covering for your head.. specially when cool wind blows. Oh.. and gloves! Otherwise holidng camera with tripod won't be nice ;-) But there is possibility that days/night could be warmer than this.. even in Oct :-) But I guess it's easier to take out cap from your head and stow (?) this in your pocket than finding some covering in the middle of Puszcza Bialowieska :) Unless you'd like to wear some cup made from leafs ;-)))
I don't think so ;-) But who cares? :) Frank, we had some photo expedition today - take a look -> www.pbase.com/bgf and then choose 'Krolowy Most [27.IX]' :)

Nice pictures Czacha, I see that I will have to take a lot of warm things in October. In Holland now there is occasional fogs only - no frost so far
