Kaukaski Beit Midrasz swoją nazwę wziął od dzielnicy garbarzy oprawiających skóry sprowadzane z gór Kaukazu. Była to jedna z najuboższych dzielnic Krynek. Beit Midrasz wzniesiono w 1850 roku dla pracowników garbarni. Jest to obiekt murowany, dwukondygnacyjny, z czterospadowym dachem, ma zaledwie 16 x 16 metrów, lecz mieścił prócz sali modlitewnej także przedsionek i babiniec. W czasie wojny budynek został wypalony, a w 1955 roku we wnętrzach urządzono kino i ośrodek kultury, niszcząc jednocześnie bimę i zmieniając układ pomieszczeń. Dziś mieści się tu Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu.
