Trajkotka błękitna (Oedipoda coerulescens) zwana też siwoszkiem w locie wydaje charakterystyczne, terkocące dźwięki, a kolor w nazwie związany jest z barwą jego skrzydeł! Można go odnaleźć na nasłonecznionych murawach, w lasach sosnowych i ekotonach łączących te dwa zbiorowiska! Szarańczak ten tak zlewa się z otoczeniem, że nawet gdy zaobserwujemy, w którym miejscu wylądował, to odnalezienie go i tak sprawi nam wiele kłopotów! Zawsze można pochodzić w miejscu, w którym przysiadł i ponownie go wypłoszyć , licząc na to, że tym razem siądzie tam gdzie będzie lepiej widoczny. Wybrałem zdjęcie hemimetabolicznej larwy w ostatnim stadium, charakteryzująca się zawiązkami skrzydeł - stadium to zwane jest nimfą ;) Przysiadła ona na piaszczystej ścieżce, a miejsce obserwacji to Ruda Śląska. (Zdjęcie może mało ciekawe, ale za to gatunek rzadki i interesujący)
