Klasztor Metamorfozy - Wielki Meteor. Na wysokości 613m n.p.m. i 475m.w. nad korytem rzeki Pinios znajduje się, największa skała z grupy Meteorów. Na niej zbudowano klasztor Metemorfozy. Pierwszym, który zamieszkał na tej skale był Athanasios który w 1380 r. wybudował tam świątynie. Klasztor odnowili i rozbudowali dwaj mnichowie: Joasaf w latach 1387-88 i Symeon w latach 1541-42. Klasztor jest bardzo okazały, swym wyglądem przyciąga wzrok. Ołtarz jest rzeźbiony w drewnie, a następnie złocony. Tron przeora jest dekorowany sentefirem (kamień szlachetny), ściany są zdobione malowidłami, które ilustrują dogmaty kościoła, historię i liturgię życia kościoła ortodoksyjnego.
