Kościół pw Matki Boskiej Gromnicznej - Parafia w Siemiechowie został erygowana w 1346 r. a pierwsza wzmianka o kościele pochodzi z 1349 r. Obecny drewniany kościół został zbudowany na początku XVI w. Był odnawiany prawdopodobnie w 1585 r. Około 1678 r. odbudowano zakrystię zniszczoną pożarem. W XVII w. wzniesiono wieżę, która została rozebrana w 1922 r. W końcu XVIII w. przybudowano murowaną kaplicę. W latach 1955-56 kościół został odnowiony, ze stanu niemal ruiny, wtedy wykonano fundamenty, wyremontowano ściany, dach, położono nowe pokrycie i wzniesiono nowe kruchty. Od 1953 r. kiedy ukończono budowę nowej murowanej świątyni, stary drewniany kościół przestał pełnić swoją funkcję.
