Ratusz Głównego Miasta - obecnie siedziba Muzeum Historycznego Miasta Gdańska. Dokładna data budowy Ratusza nie jest znana. Po zniszczeniu miasta przez Krzyżaków w 1308 r., normalne życie rozpoczęło się w Gdańsku wraz z nadaniem pełnego prawa chełmińskiego w 1378 r. przez mistrza krzyżackiego Winricha von Kniprode. Pierwsza faza budowy obecnego Ratusza została zrealizowana w latach 1379-1382. Kolejna faza rozbudowy dokonała się w latach 1454-1457 i związana była z przybyciem do Gdańska króla Kazimierza Jagiellończyka. Po prawej stronie Ratusza znajduje się Dwór Artusa (to ten biały budynek nie opodal Ratusza). Jest jednym z dziesięciu obiektów, które powstały nad Bałtykiem od początku XVI w. i jedynym zachowanym w tak oryginalnym stanie do końca XX w. Mit o królu Arturze i rycerzach okrągłego stołu odpowiadał bogatym mieszczanom gdańskim, naśladującym feudalne obyczaje rycerstwa. W Dworze stworzono centrum życia towarzyskiego, ujętego w szczegółowe przepisy. Odbywały się tu spotkania, biesiady, wesela, a także grano sztuki teatralne. Od 1742 r. służył również jako giełda. Budynek dworu wzniesiono w latach 1476-1481.
