Kościół w Laskowcu został zbudowany w 1928 roku. Jest przykładem ludowego budownictwa bez wyraźnych cech stylowych. Jego masywny, prostopadłościenny pseudobazylikowy korpus został ożywiony dostawioną od frontu wieżą - dzwonnicą mieszczącą w przyziemiu kruchtę, a w drugiej kondygnacji chór muzyczny. Składa się ona z czterech zwężających się ku górze segmentów rozdzielonych obdaszkami. Wnętrze kościoła dzielą na trzy nawy drewniane słupy; analogiczne podpory wspierają balkon chóru muzycznego. Dzięki wysunięciu ku nawie głównej ołtarza wielkiego utworzone zostało obejście dostępne przez zakrystię i skarbiec, włączone w bryłę budowli. Kościół ten jest obecnie nieużytkowany, ponieważ niedawno stanęła obok niego murowana świątynia, która przejęła funkcję parafialnej. Drewniany kościół służy jako magazyn i ulega stałej degradacji, podobnie jak jego skromne wyposażenie, na które składają się trzy prowizoryczne ołtarze, dwa komplety ławek oraz drobne sprzęty i szaty liturgiczne. Niezbędne jest nadanie kościołowi nowej funkcji i przeprowadzenie kapitalnego remontu.
