Wenus i Jowisz na porannym niebie 4 lutego 2008. W pierwszych dniach lutego doszło podczas wschodu do bliskiego spotkania na niebie obu tych planet. W rzeczywistości Wenus (jaśniejsza po lewej) znajdowała się w odległości 200 milionów km, natomiast Jowisz odległy był o 904 miliony km od Ziemi. Jasna gwiazda znajdująca się przy prawej krawędzi zdjęcia to Antares, czerwony nadolbrzym o średnicy 740 razy większej od Słońca i mocy promieniowania ponad 10 000 razy większej od naszej Gwiazdy.
